Where to begin, if you are looking for a photographer for your wedding day then meet Paul and look no further. We met Paul almost two years ago now at a wedding fayre and from the first meeting you will see how approachable and friendly Paul is, never mind how stunning his photographs are. Our first official meeting with Paul was fantastic and lasted well over two hours, he is such an easy going, honest man that you can talk for hours like you have known him for years.

We booked Paul without hesitation and since then he has been a constant feature in our wedding planning, Paul will never allow you to feel like you’re asking too many questions or emailing too often. Even when we were struggling with other aspects of our day, who to go to for cakes, flowers Etc… He was always there to lend a hand or opinion. His knowledge is outstanding.

We decided that we wanted to create a bespoke save the date with an image taken by Paul, of course he was happy to accommodate and said we would do a small shoot on a few locations, this turned in to a good number of hours and around 100 photographs. Incredibly generous and incredibly difficult to choose!

The wedding day, Paul was with us from 8am to around 9:30pm. From the 700 plus photographs we now treasure from our day I can honestly say I don’t remember half of them being taken. This is down to Paul’s incredible skill to be everywhere but nowhere to be seen. My bridal party got ready at the Lhorizon Hotel, Bride, bridesmaid, mother of the bride along with hair and makeup, it was a busy room but somehow Paul never got in the way. He is incredibly unobtrusive to your day but will capture the most stunning expressions and moments.

Paul will always listen to any ideas you have about photos, locations, specific items you want captured, he listens to your story and takes a genuine interest in the path you have taken as a couple, and from this Paul works behind the scenes and will sometimes come up with a little gem to add to your day. For example, just before our wedding Paul had been in touch with the RNLI and was trying to arrange for us to have photos sitting on the back of the RNLI vehicle. Not a promised photograph but one he would endeavour to make happen if we wished. This was such a nice touch as a great grandparent worked on the RNLI for many years so was a nod to our family’s past.

Paul was not just our photographer but became a wonderful friend and somebody that we will always be grateful to. We are so pleased that we met Paul and was privileged enough to have him capture our day. Going forward we could never recommend anyone else but Paul and will continue to use him for ANY occasion.

Thank you! Xx
