Wedding Photography – FAQs, Packages & Prices
Firstly, congratulations and thank you so much for considering me as your photographer.
Weddings… I absolutely love them and you are going to love yours! A beautiful fun filled day celebrating your love for each other with all your best friends and family together. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Hopefully by the time you get to the end of this page I’ll have answered all you wanted to know but if I haven’t then don’t hesitate to ask.
So how does it work from now until delivery of images & albums?
WHERE TO BEGIN?
Firstly have a look through some of my galleries, and once you’ve decided that you like my style of photography, send me an email to check I’ve still got the date and if so then lets hook up for a chat.
THE MEET?
Every couple and wedding is unique. So I absolutely love meeting awesome new couples and hearing about your story so far, how you met, the proposal, your love for each other, quirks, passions and what makes you tick. I want to capture the genuine you. So that my images reflect you and your day in a natural, relaxed way. Your comfort and happiness is whats important from the moment we meet to revealing the final images to you. I’m there every step of the way whenever you need me and as often as you like. I’m a strong beleiver in that its’ your day and you should do it your way.
At this point we can chat through your plan as you know it so far. You’ll be surprised with a few questions from me just how much you know already, even if you don’t have much organised.
I spent some time when I first arrived in jersey organsing & running weddings ,so pick my brains and I’ll take notes ready to type up your plan with realistic timings. Don’t worry if things change, its quite normal, we’ll just ammend as we go and as your wedding plans evolve right up to the day itself. We’ll look at a few galleries and I’ll show you the print or mini album boxes that come as part of package one and you can ask me anything you want to know.
Consultations are completely free and there is no obligation to proceed. It’s a great way for us to get to know each other. You’ll find out if I’m the right photographer for you and I get to hear all about your amazing ideas!
CAN I BOOK YOU, PAYMENT & HOW DO I DO IT?
Yahoo, yes of course you can.
Just send me another email to see if your date is still available. Once you’ve paid a nonrefundable deposit / booking fee of £300 to secure the date, your date is officially in the diary and I’ll email confirmation. Wahoo!!
Payments are by bank transfer and must be referenced with your name and wedding date. I will then type up the plan we chatted about and email it over to you along with whats included in your package, costs and anything else we have discussed.
A further £300 fee is required six months prior to the wedding date with the final balance payable the week running upto the wedding.
BOOKING MY FREE COUPLES SHOOT?
It’s probably easier and quicker to chat over the phone inorder to compare diaries and get a date booked, rather than bouncing back and forth with various dates and times, so give me a buzz. We’ll briefly talk about location, clothing etc. Then touch base in a bit more detail just before the date. You can choose the location, if theres somewhere special or important to you both. The shoot itself is usually about ¾ hour and don’t worry if the weathers not great, we’ll just reschedule. The shoot can be used as a couples pre wedding shoot, save the date, trash the dress or extra bit of time on the wedding day. If you have another idea just ask, I’m open to new ideas.
ON THE DAY?
We’ll work out what time in the morning I’m needed from if I’m wanted for the getting ready images and I usually stay until about half an hour or so after the first dance. But if you need something different then lets chat about what you have in mind. I’ll capture all the details and fun of the day.
Its not often needed but if you feel you need a second photographer on the day, then no problem, I will arrange another professional photographer. They will be chargeable by the hour based on a minimum of two hours.
WHEN DO I GET TO SEE THE IMAGES?
This takes a little while approximately 6-8 weeks. Its generally a bit quicker in the spring and early Summer, then a bit longer towards the end of the Summer, Autumn time.
I take time narrowing down the images, then I start to work my way through editing each of the remnaining images. Once finished I don’t do anything for a few days. Finally I go through them again one more time before uploading them to the viewing gallery as high resolution images. This gallery is passworded and can be passed on to any of your friends & family to enjoy. They can download them all for themselves or just an individual image, for free and save it or print themself. Alternatively they could order a print of a favourite image that will be sent directly to their home address.
PRINTS AND MINI ALBUM AS PART OF THE PACKAGE?
Let me know which option you would like. If it’s the print box, let me know which image you would like for the lid or which colour leatherertte and logo along with the numbers of the 100 images you would like printing and putting in the box. If it’s the mini album then the same applies for the lid of the box but the mini album only holds about 65 images. Whichever option you go for, a usb comes too and you can choose what text you would like on it. The usb is loaded with all your edited high res images.
Once they arrive I’ll let you know and you can enjoy the final part of the package with a bottle of bubbly and chocs on me.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CHANGE DATES OR LOCATION?
No problem. Plans sometimes change. If I’m no longer needed or if you have chosen another date that I can’t do then I will refund in full, so long as I manage to fill the date with another similarly priced wedding.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
Absolutely and often do, for various types of photography. In fact I love it. The extra costs are dependant on what’s needed. In fact I have been known not to charge travel costs at all, if I can extend it into a holiday.
I QUITE FANCY A LARGER ALBUM IS THAT POSSIBLE?
Yes we would meet up and discuss what you would like then after you had let me know the numbers of the images you would like to feature in the album. I would then crack on with the design and send you a proof. You can let me know of any changes and then I will get it ordered after you have seen a final proof and paid for the album.
Bespoke Album Package 14”x10” Landscape, from £695
- Up to 30 spreads (60 pages) approximately 150 images.
- Options for 35 spreads (175 images) & 40 spreads (200 images).
- A choice of paper finishes including metallic, velvet, lustre & gloss.
- Contemporary gatefold with central photo or design on cover.
- Text personalisation.
- Lay-flat opening allows your images to be printed seamlessly across both pages.
- Various cover finishes. Including image wrap, leather, linen, leatherette, patterned & metal.
- Comes with faux leather presentation box and usb.
- Parent smaller copy albums available at time of purchase.
Duplicates of the album are 50% of the main album cost, at the time of ordering the original album. Downscale albums also available at various prices, dependant on size.

Package 1 £2,250
- As many consultations as you would like.
- Typed itinerary & details of your day.
- Complimentary couples shoot (approx 3/4hr. Cannot be exchanged for a cash value).
- Getting ready on the day.
- Ceremony
- Married couple shoot close to the venue.
- Reception
- Weather and time permitting. Low light photo shoot of couple on the day.
- 1st Dance and some of the evening celebrations later.
- High-resolution usb with all the edited images in a bespoke presentation box. Plus 100, 9.5″x6.5″ prints of your choice from your wedding day or swop the prints for a mini album (aproximately 65 images).
- Password protected online viewing area where your guests can download images for free or order prints online.
- Then relax and enjoy your images with a bottle of bubbly and chocolates on me.
Package 2 £1,995
- As many consultations as you would like.
- Typed itinerary & details of your day.
- Ceremony
- Reception
- 1st Dance.
- USB of edited images from your wedding day.
- Password protected online viewing area where your guests can download images or order prints online.
Just so you know I am fully insured and licensed professionally, with many years of experience to help your day run soothly.
Don’t forget to send your signed contract back too.
